Iryna Glazunova is a Belarusian painter from the historic town of Vitebsk – a birthplace of many world-renowned artists, including Marc Chagall. Carrying on this tradition of creativity, Glazunova presents her exhibition “Paper Wings”, a series of works that capture the fleeting, luminous atmosphere of childhood. Through bright colors and delicate forms, the exhibition invites viewers to reconnect with their own joyful emotions and immerse themselves in positive, dreamlike memories.
Her paintings, created with acrylic on paper, are performed in the style of modern post-impressionism. They reflect both lightness and sincerity, expressing a world where imagination takes flight, much like the fragile wings of paper. Beyond her artistic practice, Iryna Glazunova has become known in Budapest as a devoted painting teacher for Ukrainian refugee children.
Since the spring of 2022, she has generously shared her knowledge and inspiration through volunteer master classes in several charitable projects, including those for children with special educational needs, leaving a lasting impact not only as an artist, but also as a mentor and humanitarian.
